Healthy Homes is one of Build Studios’ educational programmes, designed for Year 6 primary pupils. The workshop helps children explore how homes are constructed and introduces the principles of sustainable buildings and infrastructure. Through this, students gain an understanding of energy efficiency, and how it connects to both the climate emergency and our health.
This 90‑minute session combines hands‑on science experiments, participatory learning, and specially designed Healthy Homes workbooks that reinforce key ideas in an age‑appropriate and engaging way. It links with the KS2 curriculum.
